Now that you have a full head of hair again, it's important to take good care of it. To enjoy your new hair and extend the life of your hair system, follow these simple instructions.

 

 

 

Shampooing your hair system is an important part of maintenance, however, you need to be gentle, not rough on the system. Here's a few things you can do to maximize the life span of your hair system. 

 

When in the shower, lather up shampoo around the sides and back of your head, gently move the shampoo from towards the top of your hair system and spread the shampoo over your head.

Don't scrub the shampoo into your hair system, gently pat and       spread the shampoo around the top of your head to help it get through to your scalp.

 

Avoid excessive shampooing of your hair system. Even though the hair system is made of natural human hair, it doesn't replenish itself with scalp oil like the rest of your bio hair. Therefore it doesn't require much shampooing. Shampooing your hair system 1-2 times a week is plenty to keep it clean and fresh.

 

 

 

Conditioning your hair system every other day will help to hydrate and strengthen the hair, keeping it healthy and softer longer. When in the shower soak your entire hair system and gently work conditioner around the sides and back of your head slowly working it up to the top of your hair system.

 

Using "leave-in" conditioner is a great way to keep your hair system soft and manageble. Using conditioner for color treated hair and also conditioner with sun block is also recommended.

 

 

 

Brushing and de-tangling your hair system when it's dry before shampooing and conditioning your hair system is recommended.

Never tug on your hair system with a brush or comb, hold your attachments when brushing through longer hair.

 

You can style your hair system any way you choose, however less is more when it comes to hair products. Avoiding excessive hair spray, gels and mousse will help your hair system stay cleaner and last longer. If you blow dry your hair, don't use excessive heat. Allowing your hair system to air dry produces the most natual looking results.
